Get your drink on
MoJoe Lounge (600 N High St.) features the perfect place to start off a Galley Hop adventure. The location, on the northeast corner of the Cap, is ideal, but a strong selection of beers, wines, and specialty drinks (coffee and/or booze) seals the deal.
Get your grub on
The top complaint about the Hop is that dining out is expensive. Not true. Cheapskate, meet Phillip's Coney Island. Phillip's (747 N High St.) is a Columbus landmark that's been serving this neighborhood since long before the fancy condos and galleries went in and not much has changed, including the prices.
Get your freak on
Self-pimped as a rock 'n' roll boutique, What The Rock?! (1194 N High St.) is the place where you can find those odd little gifts and accessories that will trick people into thinking you're cool. Posers are welcome.
Get your smoke on
Sometimes you've just got to have a stogie, and there's something about strolling up and down High Street that drives that point home. Though it's not a bona-fide smoke shop, Europia (672 N High St.) can hook you up with a solid stogie in a hurry. Hey, it's a great excuse for a guy to hang outside when his lady friend feels the need to shop in a girly boutique.
