If you're gonna watch poker, play poker, or just wish you could earn $9 million in two weeks, you'll need to know some of the proper poker lingo.
Donk: Short for donkey, this term describes a player who has no clue what they are doing, yet usually wins due to incredible luck.
Tilt: When a player is on "tilt", they usually play recklessly and with lots of emotion. Typically occurs right after a player takes a particularly bad beat on a hand.
Dead Money: This term is used to describe participants in a poker tournament that have no shot at winning. Their entry fee is called "dead money".
Card Rack: Someone who catches great cards for the entire tournament. If you're going to beat 7,000 other people, you're going to need some good cards.
