Breakaway Music Festival breaking the mold this year

Breakaway Music Festival is breaking the mold this year with a bigger and better summer music bash at Mapfre Stadium.

For the first time, the hip hop and EDM fest will be three days: August 24, 25, and 26.

Can we get three cheers, one for each amazing day of jams!

Last year’s headliners, Travis Scott and Diplo, and the 20,000+ fans they garnered help propel the fest to this point.

“After just four years, Breakaway Columbus has grown into a large-scale festival home to over 25,000 attendees— the expansion into Sunday was a no brainer for us based on the festival’s previous success,” Managing Partner Adam Lynn explained in a release.

The lineup has yet to be released but if you trust in Breakaway’s booking capabilities (see previous lineups) consider pre-sale tickets, on sale beginning Thursday, March 29 at noon.

In addition to Columbus, Breakaway also hosts festivals in Charlotte, NC; Grand Rapids, MI; and Dallas, TX.
