Sean Ward, Giuseppe’s Ritrovo

With all that greenery in the last drink, Travis switched things up and challenged friend and former co-worker Sean Ward of Giuseppe’s Ritrovo to make a drink with the most American form of beef: jerky. The Truck Stop Tango is the result of a man who appreciates a stiff drink on the side of a highway, which is something I think we can all get behind. Just make sure no one is getting behind the wheel after a couple of these.

Truck Stop Tango

2 oz. Tres Agave Reposado tequila infused with Jack Links peppered beef jerky

.75 oz. house ancho chile liqueur

.5 oz. fresh lime juice

.5 oz. simple syrup

2 dashes of jalapeño tincture

Spiced Frito dust rim

Miller High Life (pony bottle) sidecar

Shake with ice and strain over ice into a glass with Frito dust rim. Garnish with lime and jerky.
