Since we sent you outfit inspiration, we only thought it was appropriate to send you date night makeup inspiration as well. Like the outfits, we created three looks that coincide with the ensembles created earlier this week.
-Define brows with a matte eyeshadow or brow powder that matches hair color. A good suggestion is Anastasia brow powder duo ($23, anastasiabeverlyhills.com or at Sephora)
-Best way to flirt? Drawing attention to gorgeouslips! To create a lasting finish especially with a dark or bright color, choose a satin or matte formula, fill in lips with liner, blot, and apply again or apply lipstick. I used Aveda lip definer for the entire lip in “fire maple” ($16, aveda.com or at Rafiels Studio)
-A solid wing takes lots of practice but not so much a pretty penny. I used NYC liquid eyeliner in black ($4, Target) to create a sleek winged eye.
-The best way to create a flawless smokey eye is to start with a good base which keeps color from sliding around & keeps the colors intense. I used Maybelline color tattoo in “Tough as Taupe” which starts as a cream and dries matte. ($6.99 drugstores or ulta.com)
-Always use a little sparkle or lighter color toward the inner eye area to keep the look bright. Use a darker color in the outer corners and crease to create that almond shape. A nice sparkle is MAC pigment in “Naked” (which is a HUGE multitasking loose powder, $21 MACcosmetics.com) & MAC eyeshadow in “Carbon” ($16, MACcosmetics.com)
-Finish eyes with 2-4 coats of volumizing black mascara and a glossy nude lip. I used Christian Dior “Dior Show” mascara ($22, Nordstrom) and MAC Satin lipstick in “Fleshpot” ($16, MACcosmetics.com). Top with any clear gloss.
-I used Aveda Tourmaline Charged Hydrating creme for lasting hydration and protection from the frigid air ($42, aveda.com or at Rafiels Studio in Clintonville)
-For foundation I used Aveda Mineral Dual foundation. It evens skin tone and creates a matte, long lasting complexion ($24, aveda.com or at Rafiels Studio in Clintonville).
-For flushed cheeks use MAC blush in “Fleur Power” ($22, MACcosmetics.com)
-My favorite natural nude lip color is MAC matte lipstick in “Velvet Teddy” ($16, MACcosmetics.com)
