Stay out of the Gym

For some, the gym is not a place of health but the embodiment of everything they can’t stand. And if the gym is an enemy, oftentimes the battle against calories becomes a neglected fight.

But the gym is not the only place to melt away unwanted calories. After all, they may have a negative connotation, but calories are just units of energy, which means they are up to you to burn in any way you choose. Using calorie calculators on webmd.com and healthstatus.com,* Fit Columbus has assembled some basic exercises and everyday activities (and some weird ones, too) to help you find fun, practical ways to shed excess calories without a gym membership.
